Children and Youth Ministries
Children
We believe we are all children of God!! The Church at Allentown offers many opportunities for children of all ages to grow in Christ!!!
Youth
We are committed to love, challenge and encourage both middle and high school students to live a life both with purpose and on purpose.
Adult Ministries
Life Transformation Groups
Our life groups exist to cultivate Christ centered relationships, through small groups and serving opportunities. Our vision is to bring people closer together so we can serve live, love, serve, care and share the love of Jesus with others.
Women at the Well
This ministry's mission is leading women in Spiritual growth through service and uniting with others to have fun while furthering God's Kingdom. They meet on the first Monday of every month at 6:00 PM at our church building.
Life Recovery
We believe everyone can benefit from a Life Recovery experience. We all have struggles in life. This group brings Christian recovery to you in a group setting. The group meets at the church on Tuesdays at 6pm.
Serving Opportunities
Music Ministry
We believe at Allentown, "With music, the Spirit soars." We are thankful to be able to offer both traditional and contemporary worship experiences at Allentown. Our traditional services represent classic hymns and our contemporary service shares current, cutting edge music speaking to today’s generation of young people! Our music ministry is always looking for those whom God has gifted with musical talents to enhance our worship experiences.
Food Pantry
Our ‘Five Loaves Food Pantry’ has been serving the community for over 11 years. We are open the last Saturday of each month to meet the physical and spiritual needs of those less advantaged at the time. We are thankful for the support of many area churches, organizations and individuals who believe fervently in reaching the community through the food pantry. It takes over 40 volunteers to keep this ministry vibrant.
Lima Rescue Mission
We have an awesome team that serves monthly at the Lima Rescue Mission to meet the needs of men in the community who frequent the Lima Rescue Mission. This is a great outreach in the name of Jesus! Many lives have been changed through this ministry outreach!!
Baptism and Membership
We believe baptism is a vital part of initiating living a transformed life for Jesus. Jesus set the example of surrendering to for us when He was baptized by John the Baptist. He also said we are to go and make disciples and baptize them. It is the beginning of a transformed life that is manifested through regular church attendance and serving others.
