We believe at Allentown, "With music, the Spirit soars." We are thankful to be able to offer both traditional and contemporary worship experiences at Allentown. Our traditional services represent classic hymns and our contemporary service shares current, cutting edge music speaking to today’s generation of young people! Our music ministry is always looking for those whom God has gifted with musical talents to enhance our worship experiences.
Our ‘Five Loaves Food Pantry’ has been serving the community for over 11 years. We are open the last two Saturdays of each month to meet the physical and spiritual needs of those less advantaged at the time. We are thankful for the support of many area churches, organizations and individuals who believe fervently in reaching the community through the food pantry. It takes over 40 volunteers to keep this ministry vibrant.
We have an awesome team that serves monthly at the Lima Rescue Mission to meet the needs of those men in the community who frequent the Lima Rescue Mission. This is a great outreach in the name of Jesus! Many lives have been changed through this ministry outreach!!
We believe baptism is a vital part of initiating living a transformed life for Jesus. Jesus set the example of surrendering to for us when He was baptized by John the Baptist. He also said we are to go and make disciples and baptize them. It is the beginning of a transformed life that is manifested through regular church attendance and serving others.
